BSP03 – 20020915 – SAO PAULO, BRAZIL : Brazilian anti-riot police provide security at the Carandiru jail 15 September 2002 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Carandiru jail, one of Latin’s America largest prison and site of the 1992 massacre that left 111 dead, shut down 15 September after 46 years in operation in Sao Paulo.
