Italy would incur ‘huge costs’ to stop the Turin-Lyon high-speed train (TAV) link unilaterally in the face of French determination to complete the project, Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte said on 24 July, explaining his view that it would cost more to stop the TAV than to complete it.
